Judging & Evaluation

Award Levels

  • Platinum: Reserved for organizations who have implemented a workforce well-being strategy with demonstrated results across several dimensions of well-being. Further, a connection between workforce well-being and key business outcomes has been recognized. Platinum awards represent the top tier of all applicants.
  • Gold: Awarded to organizations with a strong commitment to holistic well-being and related metrics. These programs and results represent the next tier of achievement in a competitive and well-qualified applicant pool.
  • Silver: Awarded to organizations with emerging well-being strategies and metrics, often with a strong focus on physical health. The silver level was reinstituted to recognize the achievements of companies in transition to broader well-being.

Application Evaluation

Applications are judged by a panel of peer judges from Business Group member companies. Judges are trained to follow established scoring processes and guidelines. In order to maintain transparency and impartiality, company programs are evaluated only on the strength of the submitted application for 2019.

Companies are required to submit results and outcomes data in the Outcomes Documentation Addendum of the application. Submitted data will be used to provide judges additional context and support the answers for the Outcomes section.

All submitted company-specific information will be kept private and confidential. Judges must agree to and accept a confidentiality statement stating that all information reviewed will be used solely for the purpose of judging the application.

Awards are given based on program specifics, comprehensiveness and results. Please answer each question to the best of your ability to obtain the maximum points.

All judging decisions are final.
